Vancouver gridlock

Now that the Canucks are no longer playing hockey, and as they must have paid off someone to add to the gridlock of our downtown core by CLOSING lanes for traffic, do you think they might REopen Dunsmuir and Georgia Viaducts again to three lane traffic? Seems silly to have a full traffic lane on a no access roadway dedicated to hockey fans going to the game when there IS no game. Who DID pay for that walkway anyhow? Vancouver taxpayers or the Canucks? They could easily have built a passageway BESIDE the viaducts, but instead simply took over a car lane and slowed down traffic.
Hmmm, poor thinking and planning unless there was a secret little deal for someone.
